How To Use Positive Affirmations To Achieve Your Goals

Positive affirmations are powerful statements that change your mindset and allow you to be open and receptive to all possibilities that will lead to the sort of life you want. The law of attraction states that you have the power to manifest exactly what you want and get it. When you know exactly what you want, and you visualize it and feel it in every core of your being it can be yours.

So how do you begin to manifest your goals? 

First of all, you need to know exactly what it is you really want. Maybe you have an idea what you want, but do you know exactly what it is you want, in detail? For the law of attraction to work, you need to be able to visualize your goal in precise detail.

So what is it you really want? Maybe you want to be happy. Maybe you want to be more relaxed and less anxious. Maybe you want to be lose weight. Maybe you want a nice big house or your dream car. Maybe you want to meet your perfect partner. Maybe you want to be confident. Maybe you want to be wealthy.


What would it look like to have what you want? Picture exactly what it will look like. How would your dream house look exactly? Maybe you could go exploring and research houses that are similar and really imagine them in every detail. Similarly, if your goal is to have your perfect partner, what might they be like? What qualities would they have? What would their character be like and how would they treat you? How do you deserve to be treated? Get a complete picture of what it is that you want and do what it takes to get that picture clear and as close as you can to what it is you desire.

There are things you can do to help your goal to look clearer.

You could create a collage of photos and images that represent your goal. You could place it somewhere where you can see it most often and it will help the goal to solidify in your mind. You could start a scrapbook or a journal where you can start to describe in detail what it is you want.

The clearer your goal is the easier it will be to manifest into being.

So when you have a clear goal in your mind and you know exactly what it is you want, you can start to manifest it into being. You can start to write and use positive affirmations that exactly fit what it is you want.

The law of attraction is about stepping into your goals right now, before you achieve them. By starting to live your life as though you already have what you want, you are putting out the message to the world that this is exactly what you deserve and desire and the world will give you what you want.

By stepping into success and starting to feel more successful, even before you are successful, you are telling the world that you are someone who is successful. You are telling yourself that you are successful. And guess what? You will be successful!


So, when writing positive affirmations, it is important to write them as though you are already achieving your goal. So, to use success as an example, rather than writing out, “I want to be successful” or “I can be successful”, you need to be writing something like “I am a successful person who attracts more and more success to my life all the time”.

This affirmation puts you straight into the position of being successful. You are stepping into the mindset of a successful person. It is important that your affirmation is stating that what you want is already happening, it is happening right now and it will continue to happen. Regularly using this sort of affirmation and visualizing what it is you want will bring powerful results.

A good way to use affirmations is to write them into your journal and regularly repeat them to yourself. While repeating them, feel what you are telling yourself. Feel the power and reality of your goals and imagine how it feels to be that person.

Writing them on post it notes and sticking them up where you will see them is a really good way to keep the power of them going.

Looking at yourself in the mirror while repeating your affirmations is a great way of using affirmations. It’s really powerful to actually see yourself saying the words out loud and having what you want.

You could record yourself or video yourself saying your affirmations too. The more you read out your affirmations out loud, the more you will manifest your goal into being.

The more you use affirmations in your daily life, the more you will atrract success into your life. You have the power to create the sort of life you want and you can start doing it right now.
